DARE

DARE is about at the finish line!

DARE essays are due on the 11th of January! We'll spend this day and the following week reading our essays to the class . Some of us are a little nervous so please practice in front of your family. The final DARE culmination will be at the CAC on Feb. 23rd.

Our Accelerated Reading Program will begin on the 19 of Sept. Please read 30 minutes a day!

We are experimenting with 5 mystery powders for the next week.

What's Up in Social?

We are just beginning the history of Minnesota. We will be learning about the ice age and early hunters. The Dakota, Ojibwe, early fur trade, and the importance of the flour ,lumber and iron industry. In November we will go to Mpls. for a field trip with the Mn Historical Soc.

MATH UPDATE

We are beginning unit 1 and will usually do a lesson per day.
